2020 has certainly been a unique year for everyone across the globe. COVID changed how we all live, work and play. As a business, we were faced with various challenges from having to setup remote operations and implementing skeleton crews to reworking our production and distribution schedules all while doing everything we possibly could to maintain a high level of customer service.
An unexpected result of the pandemic was a massive surge in demand due to an increased interest in the great outdoors. While seasonal surges are normal for the paddlesports industry, this was unlike anything we have ever experienced thus product availability became an issue. Put simply, everything our dealers and distributors had in stock for the entire Spring/Summer season was sold out within a matter of weeks and our factory simply couldn't keep up with the demand. Since then, we have implemented new processes and procedures to make sure this does not happen again and are currently filling our warehouses and dealer showrooms back up with products for the rest of the year and well into 2021.
Despite all this, we continue to maintain a high standard of safety for our customers, partners and employees.
How We Are Addressing COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 situation across the United States, daily operations of our offices remain slightly altered and we continue to maintain necessary safety precautions in our showrooms and warehouses. This applies to all Feelfree US, LLC brands including Feelfree Kayaks, 3 Waters Kayaks, Jonny Boats, Seastream Kayaks, Feelfree Gear, Nav8 Bags and Chilart.
Customer Service, Dealer Support and eCommerce Operations continue to operate as normal. However, we are still experiencing some delays in shipping and response times.
For those of you shopping for a new kayak or looking for accessories, we recommend you reach out to your local dealers first. If your dealer is closed or is not taking online orders, please note that all of our eCommerce websites will continue to remain open 24/7 for your convenience. However, all orders placed from anyone of our eCommerce websites may be delayed but will be shipped out in the order they are received as soon as possible. Please note that delays may vary and be subject to change based on government orders and 3rd party shipping company policies.
